Three people are in hospital after being injured in a three-car accident in Burmarrad Road, St Paul’s Bay, this morning, the police said.
A BMW and a Mazda being driven in the direction of Mosta were involved in a collision, with the driver of the BMW losing control of the vehicle and crashing into a Hyundai being driven in the opposite direction.
The Hyundai driver, a 67-year-old Briton, and a 60-year-old woman and a nine-month old boy who were travelling with him, were taken to hospital. The woman suffered grievous injuries while the other two were slightly hurt.
The BMW driver, a Turkish an aged 50 and residing in St Oaul’s Bay, and the Mzda driver, a 26-year-old man of Qormi, were unhurt.
