Castello dei Baroni, Wardija, Friday 25th November, 2016

Awards are one of the most powerful and cost-effective marketing tools and winning a prestigious Malta's Best in Business Awards will help your organisation to stand out from the crowd, send a positive message to your existing customers and attract new business.

Malta's Best in Business Awards are Malta's highest profile awards and winning this accolade will say a lot about the quality of your organisation and the strength of your management team.

Due to its high profile, the Awards attract a wide range of entries from across all sectors from large international PLCs and public sector organisations to dynamic and innovative SMEs or Start-ups.

But the winners all have one thing in common - they are truly excellent at what they do and have proved this by winning Malta's Best in Business Awards.

Malta's Best in Business Awards aim to highlight and reward excellence across the private and public sectors to help businesses become even more successful. The following research findings highlight some of the benefits award winners enjoy:

  • Large award winning companies experienced a 48% increase in operating income and a 37% growth in sales when compared to non-award winners. Smaller award winning companies were also shown to have experienced a 63% increase in operating income, and a 39% growth in sales when compared to non-winners.
  • A study compared the financial performance of 120 award winning companies across Europe that met specific criteria against comparison companies of a similar size and operating in the same industries. The financial performance was tracked over 11 years. The study found that the award winning companies showed improvements in financial performance after just a year of winning their first award.
  • Fact: All award winning companies outperformed the comparison companies by an average of 17% for sales and 36% for share value. During the past year that performance was tracked, the award winning companies experienced even greater increases as compared to comparison companies with sales growing by an average of 77% more and operating income by 18% more.

Malta's Best in Business Awards are marketed and administered by MBR Publications Limited, who own copyright and trade licence, and is one of Malta's leading provider and organisers of high quality business gala awards, supplemented by technical and logistics support services, and who also cater for MICE, publishers of Malta's leading business publications, also acting as a PR and media agency, providing news and information to progressive organisations.

Mr Vella explained, "Chances are you will want to tell your target audiences about your success, so we have developed a range of public relations benefits for winners. As a winner company/ies will receive a press release with judge's/ Organiser's comments about why you have won. These comments can also be used on your website and other marketing materials at no cost and will be published on Malta's Best in Business Awards website, which is great for link building, and is an extension of MBR Publication's own website. Malta's Best in Business Awards will also contact you to provide free help and guidance on maximising the awareness of your success. This will include how best to generate media coverage in the press, broadcast media and online as well as how to communicate your success directly to existing and potential clients, staff and other key opinion formers."
