£1 bet on Brexit, Donald Trump to be president and Leicester to win title would have won you £4.5m

British media are reporting that a £1 (€1.13) bet on Brexit, Donald Trump to win US election and Leicester City winning the title would have resulted in a staggering £4.5 million (€5.1 million) win for the punter.

But nobody thought of it before it happened, and no such bet was placed.

This year has been extraordinary for upsetting the odds as unlikely events keep on shocking people across the world.

This week, Donald Trump stunned one and all by beating Hillary Clinton to become President of the United States despite constant issues surrounding his campaign and character.

Earlier this year, Leicester City did the unthinkable to clinch the English Premier League title, just a month before the British people voted to leave the European Union.

After all these shocks, it is just a shame no-one placed a bet, as a minimum £1 bet on Brexit, Trump and Claudio Ranieri's Leicester would have won you a mammoth £4.5million – £4,530,906 (€5,153,268) to be precise.

That is with the three scenarios at their longest odds given by bookmaker Ladbrokes – 5000/1 for the Foxes, 150/1 for Republican Trump and 5/1 for the 50% chance of Brexit.
