The General Workers Union has a problem if it thinks that every criticism that is levelled against it is malicious, Archbishop Mgr Charles Scicluna said.
Interviewed by The Malta Independent online editor Stephen Calleja on INDEPTH, Mgr Scicluna was referring to a headline on the GWU newspaper l-orizzont in which he was described as having malicious intentions when he criticised a workers’ scheme run by the GWU.
“If a union which defends workers and has its own newspaper thinks that all criticism levelled against it is malicious, (that union) has a problem,” he said.
INDEPTH with Archbishop Mgr Scicluna will be uploaded tomorrow.
