On the first floor, a footbridge will be constructed and bathrooms will be built. On the second floor, photovoltaic panels will be installed at part-roof level, and more such panels will be installed on the roof.

The architect said that the PV panels would not be visible from the surrounding streets. The aforementioned bridge will go through one of the exhibition rooms, he said, adding that this will bring a different perspective to the art on display.

One of the corners of the Auberge, facing Piazza La Vallette was damaged during WW2, he said, adding that the treatment of this area will be a reserved matter. The courtyard within the Auberge will also be restored.

The project was approved.
