A 63-year-old man was found dead along the Msida coast, the police have said.

The police received reports at 1.25am this morning, where the man was found face down in the water. The man is from the UK, however lived in Msida .

Preliminary investigations show that the man could have fallen ill, became dizzy and fell into the sea. The cause of death, still needs to be officially established through an autopsy, but it doesn't seem like third parties were involved, police said.
