A 22-year-old suffered grievous injuries after the car he was driving crashed into an electricity pole in Tal-Barrani Road, Tarxien, on Sunday evening.
The man, resident of Zurrieq, was driving a BMW 316 when the accident happened at 9.55pm.
He was taken to hospital for treatment.
The police are investigating.
