Two men found with roughly 200g of cocaine, kept under arrest

Two men from St Paul’s Bay, 48,  and Swieqi, 39, have been arrested after a search of the vehicle they were in found roughly 200g of what is thought to be cocaine. The discovery was made following days of observation by the Malta Police Force Drug Unit.

The man from St Paul’s Bay was also found with a loaded gun after a search of his home. The two men are currently being held under arrest in order for them to assist in ongoing investigations. Magisrate Caroline Farrugia Frendo was informed of the case and tasked a number of experts to assist in the inquiry.
