I hope John Guillaumier is not competing with the devil, who is also an expert in quoting the Bible.

To interpret the passage "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth etc." as an invitation to take up the sword to topple the harmony of the family and nation, other than an exhortation, common sense and necessity to "give up all for Christ" is sinister.

To Christians and people of goodwill, it's all conventional wisdom and intuitive realization that Jesus is our only hope and saviour.
