British media reporting the EU summit being held in Malta had their own colourful ways of describing the the arrival of British Prime Minister Theresa May.  “May enters lion’s den as Juncker warns 'you never know what will happen!'  was the headline on the Daily Express.

The British media is also reporting that she will be revealing details of her discussions with US President Donald Trump. Another article in the same newspaper says that, “Patronising EU to tell Theresa May Britain will always be junior partner after Brexit.” Daily Express also reported that the “European Union leaders are set to round on Theresa May as she tries to give reassurances the UK will be a “reliable partner” after Brexit .”

“Theresa May looks increasingly isolated as she arrives in Malta for EU Summit” is what UK Business Insider wrote. BIUK said that May is excluded from afternoon discussions about the future of the EU and the Treaty of Rome. The same report says that “May sidelined as EU fears threats from populist movements.”

“Enda off to Malta for EU meeting but Theresa May set to be excluded” is the headline on The Journal, which is an Irish newspaper. They also wrote that she is excluded from the afternoon sessions.

Bloomberg news agency decided to lead with “May carries Trump message to a Malta Summit seeking clarity.” They also report that while she is in Malta she is going to have a one to one meeting with the German and Austrian chancellors and the Spanish Prime Minister.
