A 60 year old man has suffered grievous injuries after being hit by a car on Mdina Road in Qormi.

The man, from Qormi, was hit by a BMW driven by a 22 year old man from Fgura at 14:30.

The ambulance was quick on the scene and took them to Mater Dei Hospital.

Investigations are ongoing.
