Nobody would know that someone feels lonely just by looking at him. It is serious when you are an adolescent and you feel alone and left out because of some childhood problems. I recall my days at school when my schoolmates instead of helping me used to call me names such as PifPaf. My life wasn't plain sailing. I used to communicate with other people on social media for help, but they didn't have time for me or they had other things to do.

The other day I was surfing the net on YouTube and came across an interview with the singer Odessa Green. I saw the entire interview, which set me thinking. Her stories were very similar to mine and I was determined to contact her on Facebook. It wasn't long before she answered my message.

When everybody refused to talk or listen to me, she willingly accepted me as her friend. When I was criticised that I was doing it all wrong, you were always there, you were my hope and consolation to leap another step forward. Your inner beauty and your advice do help me and I will not let my troubled childhood problems grind me down.

You accepted me not only as a friend but also as one of the family. I don't go out with my friends to have fun. Nowadays, I look forward to Fridays when I meet Odessa. She always invites me to spend a few hours in her company. I confess that you and your dearest ones are giving me a completely new life. My huge drawback was that I never had any friends but you are filling that emptiness. I do cherish and treasure you and hope you do too.

I am grateful to Odessa, Jason and to CJ for your support and continuous help especially because each week we spend some time chatting together. Odessa and Jason, every minute that I spend with you is like I am in heaven. I truly enjoy your friendship. I feel that you love me as if I were your son.

I would like to thank Mandy and Valeria Borg who although they lead very busy lives and do not have a lot of time for me, I am sure are fond of me.

You are on my mind every day and I thank God that I got to know you. I would be delighted if every now and then you call me. I thank you...
