Five Somali men, aged between 20 and 31, residing in Marsa and Hal Far respectively, have been arrested by the Police after they were found to be in possession of what suspected cannabis resin and also various sachets containing white substance suspected to be cocaine.

The arrests were made yesterday afternoon in Paceville following days of observation by the Drugs Squad Police. Drugs were also discovered hidden in the same area.

The men are expected to be arraigned in court, tomorrow, charged with possession and trafficking of drugs.

Police investigations are still underway.
