On Sunday 26 March, a sports activity took place at the Corradino Correctional Facility where delegates and players from the Ħamrun Spartans Football Club visited the facility to play a friendly football match against CCF residents.

During the event, the coach of Ħamrun Spartans Jacques Scerri donated a signed shirt and ball to the inmates. Although the match was played in an informal and fun environment, the competitive element was not lacking, and the CCF residents emerged as winners in the encounter.

The Facility’s Assistant Director Mariella Camilleri thanked the delegates and players for their donation and emphasised the importance of such events in the education and reintegration plan of inmates.
