Prime Minister Joseph Muscat is certain that blogger and journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia is lying and that she has no evidence to support the very serious allegations she is making.

In comments to the media, the Prime Minister described the allegations as senseless as they are not supported with hard evidence.

Asked if his position on Minister Konrad Mizzi and Keith Schembri changed since fresh allegations emerged, the Prime Minister said that his position has not changed, "because nothing changed."

Asked what will happen if the serious allegations mentioned by Daphne Caruana Galizia prove to be true based on evidence, the Prime Minister replied that one should see what would happen if the blogger fails to come forward with evidence.

"I call for decency and common sense. You can attack me and write lies about me but don't attack my family," he said while insisting that if Simon Busuttil has any information, he can come forward.

"I have always been consistent. But I insist that if Simon Busuttil has any information, he should come forward."

For the past couple of days, journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia has been releasing fresh allegations with regards to the companies in Panama. Both Konrad Mizzi and Keith Schembri filed libel suits against the blogger claiming that what Caruan Galizia is saying are lies.

Meanwhile, the PN media has been going hard after the Prime Minister asking him to confirm whether Egrant, the infamous third company mentioned in the Panama Papers, belongs to him or any member of his family. The Prime Minister has always denied these claims.
