A 53-year-old woman from Gżira was seriously injured today after she lost control of he motorcycle in St Paul’s Bay.

The accident took place at around 9:45am in Dawret San Pawl, the police said.

The woman was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. 

She was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance and was later certified to have suffered grievous injuries. Police investigations are ongoing.
