Politics for the few is anti-politics, Archbishop Charles Scicluna said.
In a message recorded two weeks ago, and which was uploaded again today by the Church's news portal newsbook.com to accompany its editorial, Mgr Scicluna says that the poison of corruption and lies reduces dignity and leads to a poison that goes against social justice and foments social conflicts.
He said that whoever governs should look after the common good, adding that social justice also requires a healthy environment for the benefit of this and other generations.
The message ends with a quote from Pope Francis, who says that it is the poor people who pay for corruption.
