The appointment of the l-orizzont editor in the Office of the Prime Minister is a confirmation that Prime Minister Joseph Muscat wants to sow division, rather than bring unity, the Nationalist Party said in a statement.

In his editorials over the past months – ferocious attacks against the PN, other journalists, the Church and whoever dared expressed an opinion – the editor, Josef Caruana, led to more division in the country, the Pn said.

Muscat is now showing his support to these editorials beause he is rewarding Caruana with an employment at Castille, rather than condemn his action and disassociated himself from him.

The Maltese people seek unity but this is not about with words, but with action. With his action, Muscat is sowing more division.
