Cat skinned alive in Mdina – PS calls for police intervention

The parliamentary secretary for animal rights Clint Camilleri has sought police intervention after reports that a cat was skinned alive in Mdina.

In a statement, the Department of Information said Camilleri was informed about the criminal act which was carried out two days ago.

The Animal Welfare Department and the police are working to identify the culprit/s.

Anyone with information is asked to phone anonymously on 1717.
