Laguna Marina has consolidated its commitment to marine excellence in the Maltese Islands. Through an independent and internationally-recognised programme of quality assurance, it has obtained the Four-Gold Anchors accreditation by The Yacht Harbour Association.

The Gold Anchor award scheme has been a global benchmark for marinas for the last 25 years. Using a rating system similar to the stars awarded to restaurants and hotels, the scheme subjects marinas to a serious of rigorous tests ensuring the marina works hard to obtain and maintain the highest possible industry standards.
Laguna Marina general manager, Will Edwards said: "The independent audit of Laguna Marina by TYHA was conducted in a smooth and professional manner. The TYHA executive who undertook the audit was a huge help identifying the good, and not so good aspects of the way we run our business. I found him to be a huge resource of knowledge regarding modern marina practices. After the audit he continued to provide me with information and was available to help with my continuing queries.
"Coming from a sailing background, I originally thought running a marina would be a straightforward and simple task. After the audit I felt a bit overwhelmed but with the assistance of the THYA I now have the confidence and tools to manage effectively. We now know what areas we need to improve and do so with the knowledge that our practices are in accordance with other accredited marinas around the world."
