St’ Paul’s Bay Mayor Graziella Galea has condemned acts of vandalism that took place over the past few hours. In a statement she said public latrines in Triq San Geraldu were vandalized. Unknown persons drew graffiti on the walls and destroyed sanitary equipment.

Apart from this, shrubs that were planet in several areas were stolen within 24 hours.

Galea appealed to anyone with information to come forward so that the vandals could be identified. The mayor said she would see that the damage was immediately repaired but said it was a shame that public funds would have to be used to repair vandalized equipment.
