Members of the Arkeo Foundation performed a funny sketch, exhibited lanterns made out of watermelons and burnt a figure of Majsi - the traditional scarecrow. The families who participated in the writing activity were given a book token by Merlin Publishers.

During the event, Dr Clifton Grima, Parliamentary Secretary for Youth, Sports and Voluntary Organisations expressed his appreciation to all the parents and children who participated in the Selmun Summer Festival activities and congratulated the Arkeo Foundation and the National Literacy Agency for promoting cultural traditions and literacy through original and entertaining, joint initiatives.
