PN Administrative Committee in session to discuss Ethics Committee recommendations

Wednesday, 30 August 2017, 16:44 Last update: about 8 years ago

The report by the Ethics Committee set up by the PN on Monday is concluded and the Administrative Committee of the Nationalist Party is meeting to discuss its findings and recommendations.

The ethics committee, referred to as the Consultative Committee on Correct and Ethical behavior, which is being chaired by former Minister Louis Galea, was set up on Monday after an urgent PN administrative council meeting which discussed the allegations on Adrian Delia.

The latter has denied any illegality or earnings made from a prostitution racket based in London. The PN leadership hopeful has so far filed five libels to rebut the claims.

The committee was given a measly two days to make its recommendations to the Administrative Committee after speaking the persons it feels necessary, including Adrian Delia. All of the four PN leadership contenders appeared before this ethics committee.

The Ethics Committee has since also been entrusted to investigate claims made against Alex Perici Calascione, another PN leadership contender.
