Nationalist Party leadership contender Adrian Delia has once again denied claims made by Daphne Caruana Galizia.
In a statement today, Delia said that Caruana Galizia has embarked on regular attacks against him and people who are supporting him and his quest to become leader of the PN.
The account referred to by Caruana Galizia belongs to a client and its closure was made because of administrative procedures. The same bank opened a new account for the same client, Delia said, adding that he has been a BOV client for 30 years and always had an excellent relationship.
He condemned this mudslinging campaign by Caruana Galizia. The Nationalist Party administration should also condemn this kind of behaviour.
The new way the PN should adopt is to defend citizens who are attacked simply because they hold a different opinion about a party or a candidate. Who does not fight against psychological violence is part of it, he said.
It is not the first time that Delia has had to rebut allegations made by the Caruana Galizia, who has been on a crusade against his leadership contention right from the start. Delia has filed five libel cases against her.
