Malta Dairy Products Ltd., producers of Benna fresh milk and Benna fresh milk products has introduced a new logo.

The logo keeps the elements of past designs (as a respect for past successes and achievements of the company) but at the same time is changed to give a more modern and bolder look "that reflects the optimism with which the company is looking at the future," a statement read.

The have also introduced the 'Farmer Owned Quality Guarantee' badge. "The underlying concept behind Farmer Owned is that care is being taken in every step of the milk's journey, from the cow to the consumer's table. All our Benna products are made from 100% fresh Maltese milk that is coming from dedicated dairy farmers with a genuine passion for milk. Because we're owned by the same farmers who produce our milk, we know everything we need to know in every step of the milk journey. That's why you can be sure that Benna fresh dairy products are made from cows' milk of the highest quality."

The group has also repackaged all its milk carton products, which will now include a cap.

They have also announced a number of new products which will be introduced over the coming months, including Pure Butter - made from 100% Maltese cream, Tar-Rahhal Maltese cheese (in different varieties) - made from 100% fresh Maltese milk, Lactose Free Irkotta - Benna's unique 'Irkotta Friska' made from 100% Maltese fresh milk now also available in lactose free, Coconut milkshake, and Lactose Free Fresh Milk.

"As part of an on-going capital investment program that has already reached around € 17 million during the last 10 years, MDP announces a further capital investment of € 3 million in more plant and machinery that will enable the company to continue producing products of high quality and enter new markets that will open new horizons to the local dairy industry.
