Two Libyan men were injured, one of them seriously, in a fight with a Lithuanian man in St Julian’s early this morning, the police said.

The incident took place in St George’s Road, St Julian’s, ay 12.30am.

The police said a 26-year-od Lithuanian attacked the two Libyan men with a bottle. The 26-year-old and 37-year-old Libyans, of Birzebbuga and St Paul’s Bay, were taken to hospital to be treated for their injuries.

The 26-year-old suffered slight injuries while the 37-year-old was grievously hurt.
