Popular Italian journalist Aldo Biscardi died today aged 86, Italian media report.
Biscardi was the first to introduce a football talk show in 1980 and later launched Il Processo del Lunedi, a programme in which all controversies in Italian football were debated.
Il Processo del Lunedi was screened in Rai Tre between 1983 and 1993, and then moved to Tele+ as Il Processo di Biscardi.
He left the programme in 2015 after leading it for 33 consecutive years, a longevity record recognised by the Guinness Book of Records.
