On the eve of the popular BirguFest, BOV announced that it has installed a new ATM in Birgu. Situated at No. 1, Triq Nestu Laiviera, corner with Pjazza tal-Belt Rebbieha, this ATM brings the bank's fleet to 95, spread all over Malta and Gozo.

The new off-site ATM has a touch-screen and offers cash withdrawals, along with a host of online banking services. Like the rest of the BOV ATM suite, the one in Birgu is equipped with voice technology, making it accessible also to the visually impaired.

"With the installation of this ATM, Bank of Valletta now has an ATM in the heart of every one of the Three Cities," said Ivo Camilleri, executive Electronic Banking at Bank of Valletta. "For today's customer, 24/7 access to banking is a priority and that is why we are continuing to invest in our fleet of ATMs, while concurrently developing further our BOV Internet and Mobile Banking applications."

Over the past months Bank of Valletta installed a new ATM at the Esplora Interactive Science Centre at Villa Bighi in Kalkara and another one at its branch in Victoria, Gozo. This is in line with the bank's strategy to be close to the communities in which it operates."

With the new ATM in Birgu, Bank of Valletta now has 45 off-site ATMs and 50 which are adjacent to a BOV branch.

Further information about the bank's ATMs, including their location, as well as the suite of online banking solutions is available on www.bov.com. Alternatively, one may contact BOV Customer Service Centre on 2131 2020.
