Nationalist Party leader Adrian Delia will be dropping the libel cases he had instituted against Daphne Caruana Galizia in the run-up to the PN leadership election, The Malta Independent has learnt.

Delia had filed four libel suits in a week in late August after the journalist had linked him to a prostitution racket in London.

The cases will now be dropped, and will not continue.

Legal sources told The Malta Independent that the cases would have continued against Daphne Caruana Galizia’s heirs.
