Italian journalists on Monday will be holding a manifestation in Rome on Monday to demand justice following the assassination of Daphne Caruana Galizia.
The manifestation will be held in Piazza Nicosia, in the vicinity of the Maltese embassy in Rome.
It will be organised by the Italian National Federation of Journalists and Articolo 21, an organisation which promotes freedom of speech as advocated in Italy’s constitution (Article 21).
Amnesty International, the Lazio journalists association and several other groups and organisations will also be attending.
The idea behind the manifestation, Italian media report, is to call for justice and raise awareness on the need to bring to an end crimes against journalists.
