Professor Alfred J. Vella, Rector of the University of Malta has signed an agreement with the University of Florida to cover collaboration between the College of Pharmacy of the University of Florida and the Department of Pharmacy of the University of Malta. 

The agreement provides opportunity for collaboration in pharmacy education and research.  The agreement supports student and staff mobility for direct-patient care experientials, the organization of a short course on clinical pharmacy in Europe by the Department of Pharmacy of the University of Malta as a study abroad option to students at the University of Florida. 

Professor Randell Doty, the Director of International Programs at the University of Florida was representing the College of Pharmacy of the University of Florida.  The agreement has been established based on a long history of collaboration between the two institutions.
