Promotional posts on Facebook for today’s national demonstration have been blocked after a cyber-attack, the Civil Society Network claimed in a press release sent out this morning.

The demonstration is taking place at 4pm this afternoon at Chalet, Sliema. It is expected to be similar to the demonstration planned one week ago in Valletta, with CSN demanding that the police commissioner and the attorney general step down. It also demands that their replacement be appointed through a 2/3 majority in parliament.

CSN has stressed that despite being blocked on Facebook, today’s demonstration will go ahead as planned.
