Vivendo Group has expanded its flagship Poltronesofà shop in Malta. In a recent event customers were invited to visit the showroom in Valley Road, Birkirkara, to meet Poltronesofà artisans from Italy, who made 20 sofas for local customers using traditional machinery and equipment. 

The opening of the enlarged Poltronesofà showroom in Malta is the result of continued investment by Vivendo Group in the popular Italian franchise that sells fabric and leather sofas and armchairs around the world. Besides their shop in Malta, the group spearheaded the expansion of the brand in Cyprus in 2016, where a concept store was opened in Nicosia, followed by a 1,000-m² establishment in Limassol this year.

The newly expanded outlet has been inaugurated during Poltronesofà's sixth year of operation in Malta, and serves as proof positive of the brand's success in the local market. Customers visiting the shop will have the opportunity to view over 100 sofa models on display, spread across 1,500 m² of retail space, which represents a threefold increase on the original establishment.

To celebrate the expansion, Vivendo Group flew in the artigiani della qualità from Forlì, Italy; the very same master artisans behind the high-quality sofas and armchairs made by Poltronesofà. Many people in Malta are already familiar with the artigiani, having seen them on numerous occasions in adverts aired on local and Italian TV.

Vivendo Group was launched in 2008 and comprises several leading furniture retail brands in Malta and overseas, namely Poltronesofà, Krea, Quadra and Dex Workspaces. The group also has a contracts division focused on outfitting hotels through Vivendo Hospitality, and fitness centres through Vivendo Wellness, which offers high-end gym equipment by Technogym. Another dedicated team focuses on furnishings and finishes of office projects spearheaded by Dex.
