Clifford Borg is best known for his piano miniatures, which are recognizable by his traditional classical technique imbued with jazz/pop sensibilities creating a melodramatic like audible scenery and very stringent musical dramaturgy. Clifford is back with his third piano concert at Saint Pancras Church in London on the 7th December in collaboration with the Malta High Commission in London. Jane Bishop which is the church co-ordinator described the event last year as the best concert ever at the church and he was invited to perform again this year. This concert will be his fifth concert in London throughout his musical carreer.
Last year Clifford had a string of piano performances in Europe including Dublin at the beautiful Christchurch Cathedral. Last May, he was also invited by the Enlightened Piano Radio to play in Berlin were he performed alongside another pianist Christoph Pagel and Kai Miano at Theater-O Ton Art and also at Neukolln Church. Teaming up with Enlightened Piano Radio has opened new horizons for Clifford since he is planning on performing in other cities together with other pianists from this association. This year he also gave a piano performance at Saint James Cavalier were he performed at the Electronic Music Malta event.
