Both the Nationalist Party (PN) and the Labour Party (PL) never follow the rule of law to the letter, Dean of the Faculty of Law Prof Kevin Aqulina said.  

Interviewed by The Malta Independent editor-in-chief Rachel Attard on INDEPTH, Aquilina said that he has been writing about the rule of law for many years.

He said that the worst enemies when it comes to following the rule of law are the two political parties themselves.

He said that is seems that there isn’t enough political will for the state to abide by the rule of law.
