Journalists across the European Union are facing lawsuits intended to silence or intimidate them and the European Union must take calls for an EU-wide anti-SLAPP legislation seriously, Labour MEP Miriam Dalli said.

In her vlog, Miriam Dalli referred to the latest review of the media bill that many have welcomed as she called for a balance between the protection of journalists and reputation rights.
