PN’s communications chief resigns three months after taking office

Thursday, 18 January 2018, 14:39 Last update: about 7 years ago

The Nationalist Party’s communications chief David Bonello resigned, just three months after taking office, The Malta Independent has learnt.

Bonello cited “personal reasons” while pledging his continued support for the PN and its leader Adrian Delia.

Bonello was appointed the PN’s communications director - replacing Matthew Bonett, who had been in the position since 2014 – after Delia had won the leadership bid.

Bonello, a lawyer by profession, worked as a journalist with XFM, Net and TVM.
