Tuesday, 23 January 2018, 11:19 Last update: about 7 years ago

A kindergarten in a poor community in Ethiopia has just been opened, the 11th project to be completed by Kilimanjaro Challenge Malta.

On 5 January 2018, all 18 members of the 11th team of Kilimanjaro Challenge Malta reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, at 5.895 metres the highest free-standing mountain in the world. The team has worked tirelessly to train for this expedition, while raising funds for the project.

While in Ethiopia, the team will also inaugurate other projects being funded by the Jesus in Thy Neighbour movement.
