Four cars were destroyed in a fire in a residential road in Ħamrun, police said. 

A Daihatsu car and Ford Transit van were the first to catch fire at around 12.15am in San Vincenz Street.

The van hit a parked Vauxhall and another Daihatsu, with both those cars also catching fire.

Eyewitnesses said that the Ford Transit van was being driven at the time it caught fire. 

Police are investigating whether any foul play was involved. Nobody was injured in the incident.
