Sliema registered their first win of the BOV Winter League when they easily beat Valletta Video Slots 11-3. Jerome Gabaretta was the star player for Sliema with five goals as Valletta never really got a look in.

The first session saw Sliema go 2-0 up with goals from Michael Spiteri Staines and Jerome Gabaretta. The second session practically decided the match with Sliema winning 4-0 thus being half a dozen goals ahead at the interval. Gabaretta was again on the scoresheet with Zach Mizzi, David Fenech, Zach Mizzi and Kai Dowling.

The third session continued the one way traffic seen in the preceding two sessions with Sliema winning 4-2. Jerome Gabaretta made it 7-0 before James Spiteri Staines scored Valletta's first goal. Zach Mizzi and Michael Spiteri Staines continued scoring while James Spiteri Staines pulled one back for Valletta before Jerome Gabaretta scored his fourth goal and Sliema's tenth.

The fourth session ended 1-1 with Gabaretta scoring again and Ryan Mock netting for Valletta for a final score of Sliema 11 Valletta 3

San Giljan Tumas Invest notched up their second victory of the Winter League in relatively easy fashion against Sirens Greentube winning 11-4 with all four sessions going the Saints' way. It was the 35th win in a row for San Giljan.

The first session saw San Giljan winning 3-1 with goals coming from Ben Plumpton, Paul Fava and Tristan Said after Sirens had taken an early lead through Jacob Sciberras. The second session was also shaded by San Giljan by three goals to two. Peter Borg and Dino Zammit put San Giljan 5-1 up before a brace by Edward Aquilina made it 5-3. Peter Borg made it 6-3 a minute before the end of the session.

The third session saw San Giljan seal the encounter when they scored three goals without reply through Dino Zammit, Paul Fava and Christian Farrugia. The fourth session was a mere formality but San Gilajn still won it 2-1 with Dino Zammit and Ben Grech adding to their tally.
