In the fourth round of the Sicilian regional tournament held last weekend in the International circuit Triscina, Maltese drivers competed in several classes, 125 Rotax Max, 60 Mini Rok, and 60 Entry Level.

In 125 Rotax Max we saw a battle for the first place between two Maltese drivers, Jake Agius and Nicky Gauci. In the semi-final Nicky Gauci lead the race until Jake Agius outpaced Gauci at one of the last corners.

In the final Nicky Gauci started in second place but acquired the first position immediately, while Jake Agius had an unfortunate accident ending in the last position.

The experience and ability of Agius was immensely helpful and he managed to overcome three Italian drivers and thus he still ended the race in third place, behind Luke Muscat who came second and the Nicky Gauci that came first.

All drivers did the ten laps, best lap time for Nicky Gauci was that of 50.203 seconds, Luke Muscat 50.516 seconds and Jake Agius with the best lap time at 50.045 seconds

In second place of Class 60 Mini Rok we found Kieran Galea with the best lap of 56.604 seconds while in the fourth place of 60 Entry Level Class we found Kayden Bonnici with the best lap of 1 minute and 1.742 seconds.
