A vigil was held in Valletta this evening to mark seven months since the assassination of journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia.

Flowers and candles were placed at the foot of the makeshift memorial in Great Siege Square while a number of speakers addressed the crowd.

The event was organized by Occupy Justice and Awturi.

Daphne Caruana Galizia was killed in a car bomb attack just outside her BIdnija home on 16 October 2017.

Three men are facing murder charges but the people who commissioned the crime are still unknown and at large.
