Omar Sudzuka triumphs in the Birkirkara Tennis Open Tourament 2018

Omar Sudzuka dominated in the Birkirkara Tennis Open tournament which took place throughout last week and came to a close with the finals being held Saturday.

Sudzuka who is a player and a coach of Asciak Tennis Academy, this year is proving to be a very successful one for him, when he now adds to his long list of achievements winner of the Men Singles in the Birkirkara Tennis Open by securing the final match against Matthew Cassar Torreggiani Saturday with a score of 6-2, 6-4. 

The Birkirkara Open tournament is a popular tournament and considered as one of the main local tournaments, with various local as well as foreign players taking part in this year's edition.

Sudzuka had a full day since earlier on in the day he also had to play his semi-final match against the German player Leon Grun, whereby both players gave a strong performance, Sudzuka remaining unbeaten and winning with a score of 6-2, 6-4.

The Maltese tennis star Omar Sudzuka is looking in top form and has been showing great consistency when earlier on this year he also formed part of the Maltese team together with Matthew Asciak, Denzil Agius and Matthew Cassar Torreggiani who represented Malta in the Davis Cup which took place in Ulcinj - Montenegro, the Malta team gave a very strong performance with Malta finishing as top of the group, the best result achieved in many years. Sudzuka also partnered up with Matthew Asciak in the last edition of the Marsa Open Tournament, whereby the duo also won the finals in the Men Doubles.
