A new mural, by Maltese artist Twitch, has appeared at the Msida skate park. The work of art, titled 'Under the Carpet', showcases “the surreal situation in Malta with vultures running the country eager to scavenge as much cash as possible whilst all the serious issues seem to get conveniently swept under the carpet,” according to the artist.

Hidden under the carpet from the left to right one can find the death of the environment, Daphne Caruana Galizia’s bombed car, Pilatus Bank and Panama Air all being conveniently slowly shoved away from the public eye. This is the second political-themed mural by the artist at the skate park.
