In his vlog, MEP Francis Zammit Dimech who is a member of the Committee responsible for youth at the European Parliament explains how young people who turn 18 years by 1st July will have the opportunity to visit various EU countries by obtaining a free inter rail ticket thanks to an initiative of the EPP Group.

He goes on to explain why this is also relevant to Maltese young people, even if we live on an island! He argues that such initiative is not simply a free ticket but an investment in young people to experience what it is like to be European. It is also an opportunity to foster dialogue between young people and to give them the opportunity to practice or learn a new language and experience the beauty of the our continent.
