Medieval night at Castrum Maris

Tuesday, 12 June 2018, 10:48 Last update: about 8 years ago

Go back in time and experience Fort St Angelo during Medieval times at night. Medieval night at Castrum Maris is an exclusive event at Fort St Angelo in which Heritage Malta offers the opportunity to savour the fort's unique ambience after sunset.

The evening starts with a show by the re-enactment group Show of Arms who will explain medieval combat and arms during that period. Participants will be given the opportunity to handle weapons and try on armour. An archery session will also be held within the fort's grounds.

After a guided night tour of the fort focusing on the medieval period of the Castrum Maris, participants can opt to spend the night at the fort, within the Admirals Hall overlooking the Grand Harbour. Participants must get their own sleeping facilities.

Medieval night at Castrum Maris will be held on Friday, 15 June and starts at 7.30pm.  Refreshments will be served.

Only a limited number of tickets are available. Tickets are available from all Heritage Malta museums and sites or online at €35 and €30 for Heritage Malta members, seniors and students.
