Gozo Minister Justyne Caruana today visited the animal welfare centre in Gozo after extensive work was carried out to improve services given.

During 2017, the animal welfare section assisted 426 animals, with minister Caruana saying that the number of calls received for the section to intervene is on the rise.

This led to further investment in the services offered, with €50,000 spent to enable the centre to deal with the growing demand.
