Migration mini-summit is the latest battleground for the European Commission’s Martin Selmayr and the European Council’s Piotr Serafin, Politico reports.

Martin Selmayr has been the Secretary-General of the European Commission since 1 March 2018. Previousy, he was Chief of Staff to the President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker.

Serafin is the head of Cabinet at the European Council headed by Donald Tusk.
