The Bank of Valletta Premier and First division Knock Out competitions get underway on Tuesday evening at the Tal-Qroqq national pool.

It is the quarterfinal stage of the competition and in the Premier Division knock out, it will be the old rival clash between Sliema Frank Salt Real Estate and Neptunes Leo Vegas, to be followed immediately by another interesting clash between champions and holders San Giljan TUM Invest and Sirens Greentube.

The semifinals of the competition are scheduled to be held next Friday and Saturday.

In Friday's match it will be the winners of the San Giljan/Sirens tie against Valletta Videoslots, while on Saturday it will be the clash between the winners of this evening's Sliema/Neptunes clash against Exiles Jetfreight.

The first quarterfinal of the first division is that between Ta' Xbiex Amigos and B'Buga Freeport which opens the three-match programme this evening.

The semifinals are also being played on Friday and Saturday.

In the Friday match, it will be Otters Nivea against Marsascala Transcripta. On Saturday it will be the winners of the Ta' Xbiex/Birzebbuga clash against Marsaxlokk Browns Pharmacy.

After this weekend, there will be no waterpolo due to the national team's participation in the European Championship finals in Barcelona between 14 and 28 July.
