At Hal Far Raceway home of Malta Drag Racing Association, this evening will see the initiation to the third round of the national championship. As is customary with this July round it will be held in the evening thus offering very different spectacle and atmosphere from the other four rounds of the same Championship. In this round there are over fifty car participating, amongst which we will see the return of Borg Brothers that were very popular at Hal Far in nighties and four cars were specially brought over from Greece. Among these four cars there is also the Mitsubishi Evolution that was in Malta for the same round last year. Back then the Greek driver reached the purpose he had when visiting our country when he broke a world record by a Mitsubishi Evolution when he made a run of 7.884 seconds.

The Championship will be held between today Thursday 19th July and Saturday 21st July from 18:00 onwards at Hal Far Raceway and all races are open to the general public.
